Um, she prepared it!!

How do you know? it says sealed and wrapped. I took that to mean in its original packaging.

100 percent toss it. I'm surprised it doesn't reek. I almost always say ok to eat here and do not live and die by best by dates but this is a definite no.

Put in an envelope and send it to my MIL.

She arrived at our house (in early May) with leftover Easter ham that she had carried (in her carry on) on a cross-country flight and then tried to get us to eat it for two full weeks.

My rule for leftover meat is to eat within 7 or 8 days. I also sometimes eat food that has been sitting out all night. I use buttermilk, yogurt, eggs, canned goods, dressings, and more waaaaay back the expiration date. Even I would not eat prepared chicken that has been in the fridge for over 2 weeks.

Ewww throw it away. If it was cooked/leftover from a meal, it should be eaten within 3-4 days. If raw, it should be in fridge only 1-2 days before cooking.

How long is chicken good in refrigerator for? 2 weeks in fridge sealed and wrapped too long and I should just throw it away?
