Very few 22 y/o want to live in a suburb, though. They want to easily be able to walk to restaurants, clubs, bars, their workplace, retail etc. If they’re on dating apps & don’t live in the city, many prospective dates won’t bother to cross the river to VA to meet them.

I will be paying her rent since her income will be limited. I am concerned with increased violence, car thefts, etc., etc. She has taken a self-defense class and spent the past 4 years in a quiet college town. While I am excited for her, I worry about her safety especially since my neighbor (wife of police officer) questioned why she was moving to a "violent city". She will be apt. searching soon. Anyone have young adults living downtown?
People who say that would say that about any major city.
Disagree. Aren't you following any DC crime threads? Today or just any day?
