Because of that, all of the kids I know (including my own) who took HPE10 in the summer did it through the FCPS online-campus even if they'd done VV for HPE9.
I am willing to pay for Driver's Ed, it says you can enroll separately. Unfortunately, we can't make the online-campus work due to scheduling problems.
Did your kid do VV for HPE9. Can you tell me how it worked?
How do you know what the scheduled online class is? At least last year they did not release the scheduled synchronous time until the day or so before. And even then, we ended up requesting a change because it conflicted with swim and got another section that worked out.

Sorry, I'm not much help as DC only did HPE10 over the summer; HPE9 was in school. All I can say is that the one kid I know who did HPE9 with VV found it pretty easy and the work out requirements seemed less strict than those for the on-line campus.
Thanks! My kid is a pretty serious athlete, which is why we have the scheduling conflict with the on-line campus, but my understanding is that he could count what he's already doing for the workout part.
I am hoping to find out how much work the rest of it is. The on-line campus said to expect to spend 6 hours a day. Which wouldn't work for us, unless he could count all his hours of working out towards that. VV doesn't say anything about the number of hours. It just says you can miss class and watch a recording, which is why I am hoping it might work.
