We had an appreciation week at our daycare this week. We had a potluck lunch, and a list went out of staff members’ favorite candy, restaurant, color, etc. We got gift cards for two primary caregivers as well as the director and assistant director.

We did a whole week of teacher appreciation at our daycare. One of the parents organized a collection and then brought in gifts and treats for each day of the week. The center also gave each teacher a gift card.

Today is daycare provider teacher appreciation day. Often times it gets forgotten and lost in the shuffle of teacher appreciation week. If you are so inclined to do so, a small token of appreciation or even a heartfelt handwritten note to your hard-working baker provider would be greatly appreciated. they care workers are so often overlooked.
