I get the pre-grilled chicken from the fresh section, add their ceasar salad from the bag, and wrap it up in tortillas

We had last minute steak sandwich from thin cut grocery rib eyes. These are better in summer though with good tomatoes. Thin cut steaks cook very fast

One kid ate it, the other didn’t (but was in a mood so might have eaten it on another night). That particular sauce was not spicy and really covered any fishy taste or smell, so I think it would work well for mildly adventurous palates. Obviously I did not invent the wheel here but I felt like it might be an idea that would help out someone else.

Funnily enough, we did the frozen shrimp scampi thing earlier in the week. And crock pot tacos the night before. So we are hitting all the working parents’ greatest hits I guess.

That sounds really delicious. I'd really like more ideas about how to cook proteins from frozen.

There are a lot of threads on this already. Specifically TJs. Maybe a google fu person can find them. Or OP can research

Start a pot of water to boil. Throw frozen shrimp in collander under running water. Start a pan on stove, medium heat- several TB butter, lots of garlic, broth, shredded parmesan. Add defrosted shrimp. Simmer.

Boil pasta. Drain.

Combine.

Feel free to add some vegetables like matchstick bell peppers, asparagus, etc.

I got home from work late last night and made this moderately healthy dinner in about 10 minutes:
Big piece of frozen cod — I put in bowl of water while heating a pan with olive oil. Sautéed the fish both sides to start to defrost it and broke it into pieces with fork as it defrosted to speed up the process. Added a packet of the masala sauce to simmer. Microwaved a bag of the TJ frozen brown rice. Added half of bag of the TJ frozen peas at the end.
