My 10yo has one or two ( depending on hunger) on a mini bagel for breakfast every day. Usually with fruit.
We don’t eat any red meat so it’s a good protein source.

My kids eat at least one boiled egg a day. What is unhealthy about JUST eggs? Even scrambled in a smidge of butter and seasoned with whatever is fine.

Eggs are wonderful, and can be eaten every day.
If you're worried or don't believe me, check their cholesterol. It won't change whether you have no eggs or 4 eggs a day. The average American diet is full of far worse things!
If you inherited a gene for high cholesterol (usually in people of Scandinavian descent), then you should talk to your doctor about diet management. I knew of two Russo/Scandinavian kids who had high cholesterol, not due to high consumption in their diet, but because of their genes.
If you're worried or don't believe me, check their cholesterol. It won't change whether you have no eggs or 4 eggs a day. The average American diet is full of far worse things!

Depends how they’re prepared too. Scrambled in butter and salt and pepper or hard boiled can obviously make a difference. Thanks, now I’m hungry.😀

My kid always wants eggs for breakfast. She eats a varied diet at other times. Is it unhealthy to have eggs every day? She has plenty of fruit and veggies at other times, but eggs are a main source of protein.
