Not true. All my Muslim friends/family will eat a cheese or veggie pizza. Halal refers to how meat is slaughtered/prepared. If there’s no meat (or alcohol) then it’s halal!

Google “halal pizza” (different from veggie pizza from a regular pizza place) and haram and educate yourself.

If someone is very strict Halal and concerned about cross contamination (e.g. someone touching their pizza with pepperoni hands) a kosher pizza might be a solution, either delivery or frozen because anything kosher certified with dairy hasn’t touched meat.

+1. I have a coworker who is strictly observant and he eats vegetarian and fish/seafood items at otherwise non-halal establishments. The first poster might be conflating halal and kashrut (kosher). People who are strictly kosher would not eat even a vegetarian pizza at a non-kosher place.

And forgot to mention: this does not apply to fish or seafood. These are always considered halal.

Had planned pizza, fruits, veggies, and ice cream. Really want to have options for a guest that eats Hallal food. What should I think about getting that works.
