And you’ve survived to tell the tale but clearly aren’t over it, right?

I would either need 2 or 3 tickets since her younger sister - who isn’t as much of a fan but still loves her - would probably be devastated and never forgive us if we didn’t take her too. The cheapest tix are @1800 each and that’s usually for bad seats.

Agreed.

I’ve never been to a concert alone and I’m 41. I guess I would be ok to do it now if I really wanted. My neighbor did recently.

The prices have come down before most of the shows to date, but its harder to know about NJ given it’s the most expensive and populous part of the country.

They’re not coming down. The show has turned out to be more amazing than the hype and people who didn’t want to go before are wanting tickets (on top of all the fans who didn’t get tickets originally). The next cities have lots of $$$. Look at the Midwest shows, maybe. But I say just do it. Spend the money and enjoy

At what age would you let a teen go alone to the concert?

I"m going to Pittsburgh and wanted to change our hotel. No dice. The entire city is sold out (at least for places I'd consider). I don't think the tickets will come down. I'm sorry.

No, they're not coming down. The demand is so high. Yes, this is one of those life disappointments.

Due to proximity to NYC and the $$$$$$ there - I would think that is one of the least likely places where prices will drop.

Fwiw I priced out suites in both Pittsburgh and NJ. It was more expensive in NJ by a lot and all taken and there was 1 left in Pittsburgh that got taken before I could get it.

My daughter is desperate to go but the tickets are ridiculously expensive. While we could technically afford them I don’t want to pay that on principle and I also want my daughter to understand that sometimes there are disappointments in life. She is offering to babysit her siblings in exchange for tickets (she’s offered 600 hours of “free” babysitting) but I don’t think she fully understands what that would mean.
So… does anyone think the ticket prices will come down at all for the NJ shows?
