In my kid’s full immersion program, only one kid left in the middle of first, and it was due to relocation. I think this is probably typical. So your best bet is hoping the waitlisters before you decline the seat. 3 definitely is possible; I wouldn’t hold my breath for 10.

10 kids don’t need to leave for you to have a shot. One kid can leave and it could take 10 spots on the waitlist to find a taker, especially if it’s late in the summer.
