Kids from DCI feeders went to EL Haynes, Meridian, SWWFS, MacFarland, Latin, Cap City, Friendship, Truth, Paul, DC Prep, CMI, and Deal if they didn't go to DCI.

SWW lost kid(s) (who stayed in DCPS/charter) to:
JR (after 9th, 10th and 11th)
Latin (after 11th)

Seems like the handwringing on DCUM is a lot of noise, but the actual data says that kids who attend these schools are content.

BASIS kids who left after 8th grade went only to:
Coolidge
SWW
Duke Ellington

Latin kids who left after 8th went only to:
Washington Leadership Academy
SWW
Duke Ellington

So basically, kids who aren't leaving for performing arts go to SWW or they stay

Observation: Walls truly pulls from all over the city. Only two schools (Deal-35, Hardy-16) sent more than 10 kids to Walls in 9th. The list of schools that sent at least one kid to Walls for 9th is below:

The Tableau is not working today (was fine yesterday). That aside, no clue what you are looking at but it does allow you to choose schools. You need to choose, charter, DCPS or both, then next box is specific school. The graphs have boxes for each school (not just LEA). Another way to see what you want to see is just to download the data (link at bottom) in Excel and you can drill down as you see fit without relying on Tableau to render properly.

Yeah, and if you click into it, you can see the individual schools within each block
