How old is this adult son?

We used this Adidas sling bag on vacation recently.

Everyone was okay with carrying it, maybe because it's shaped like a little backpack and not a purse.

I still use it for convenience and DH when biking.

Man purses are so ugly. All of them.

A messenger is very different - that’s for going to work/school

A crossbody can be used by men going to the market, going out on a date, meandering the city, chillaxing

Look up French / Italian drip

Op your son will be ahead of the curve

lol, that's a curve that's just not happening in the US.

Do you think it looks too much like a purse? Have you seen a man with something like this? I asked my son and he said he would be ok with it, but IDK if it's a good idea or not.

This is great. He will like it. Anyone under 30 doesn’t give a hood what it looks like but no, it does not look like a man purse.

Hard no on a "murse".

How old is this kid?

You're son was being kind and didn't want to hurt your feelings. If thought a murse would be useful, he would have bought one for his self already or would have asked for one unprompted.

If he really, really wants a murse, he'll buy his own.

This. Messenger bag. Or even just a super simple, basic, not-large backpack.

It’s fine but if he’s an adult wouldn’t he want to pick out his own bag?

Does your son really need this? Ask him if you can. Men used to need big wallets but since many people use their phone as a wallet, fewer do.

I use one daily (male), but I’ve lived in europe for years.

These are the two I have:

https://www.tumi.com/c/bags/crossbody-bags/

When I’m back in the us, I kept using it because it’s way too convinient.

I’ve never had comments made - women or men

But I also don’t interact with philistines
