Subject: Coppermine vs Pipeline vs SAC
I've found Coppermine to be highly skilled and well coached. As PP noted their top top teams play up and their "second" teams DOMINATE top teams from other clubs. If they were closer to my house, I'd definitely have my DS tryout.
Pipeline teams are strong and they also place a lot of kids at D1 schools each year.
SAC has a lot of teams at the younger age groups, so I think your experience will depend on which team you land on. But kids don't stay on past U12 and disperse to other clubs.
Have you looked into Baltimore Union, Celtic, or Maryland United? Their top 2014 boy teams, are strong, but you may have a different experience if placed on one of the lower teams.

My son's team has played against Coppermine kids and they are very strong! The stronger younger kids play up! For example, the 2012 kids play against 2011 kids and top of their league.

It really depends on the level of your kid. If your kid is one of the top players, i would go to pipeline if you can make the first team. SAC seems to keep the same coaches year after year. So if you like the coach you'll be fine, if not then you'll end up looking again. Coppermine may develop your kid more than the other clubs. They don't play in the greatest league, but again if you kid is not a top player, they should be fine with any of the clubs. I would find a coach you like and a team that plays the way you want your kid to play. The coach and kids on the team will have a bigger impact than the club.
There's also Celtic, which is in a good league, just not the best teams (they used to be before Pipeline came along).
