Indian matchmaking show hasn't had any success on actual matchmaking.
Mainstream dating/marrying shows like Bachelor's, Bachelorette, engaged at first sight etc are as weird.

These are heavily scripted, choreographed and rehearsed shows, why blame participants, they don't have much control over tge assigned narative.

He's the worst. He wants a blonde haired, blue eyed (cringe) Hebrew speaking Israeli hottie who lives in and will stay in LA. This has to be a VERY small pool to start with. They also have to want a large family, quickly after getting married.
He's not attractive himself really, is not independently successful, and is unhealthily enmeshed with his mother. He flat out said he would never defer to his wife over his mom (it was about wedding details, but 100% this goes for life in general).
He's delusional about what he brings to the table and what he expects of his prospects.

That sounds like a fun show. Jews usually do really well in marriage department. Almost every US president has a jewish son/daughter in-law. Most US jews are well off and good looking so makes sense.
