Subject: What chairs would you pair with this table?
Agree about the impracticality of fabric, and I don’t think fabric complements the table as well as plain wood. How about a dark gray wood chair to go with the dark gray flecks in the table?

Agree - was wondering if all the fabric suggestions are from people without kids. This is in the kitchen and needs to wipe up easily. Wood only (no fabric) or faux leather, but a big no to all those tufts

For an eat in kitchen table with three kids, my primary concern would be getting something easy to clean, probably vinyl.
Personally, I’d probably want colorful chairs with the grey table, but that depends on the decorating scheme for your kitchen. Darker colors will probably hide stains better.

These are a classic wood option, less comfortable but more durable and I would get them in black. You want to contrast the table color a bit.
