I just microwave them the time on the bag and then dump them in the sauce. Turning on the oven or simmering them 30 minutes is contraindicated with my reason for using frozen meatballs (I’m running behind usually).

This is what I’d do. We also regularly buy frozen meatballs and these are the directions. Just keep it to a low simmer, or just below. Stir occasionally. Depending on the size it may take 20-30 minutes.
