There isn't really a "stalled out" concept in an EV since there's no engine. The propulsion sysetm is a sealed motor and battery with few moving parts. Your biggest risk is running out of battery, but that won't happen suddenly.

We're on our second EV (early adopters) and never had one just stop.

That doesn’t help if I’m stalled out in the middle of a multiple lane road causing a gigantic traffic jam. How do you get it off the road until the truck gets there if you can’t turn anything on because electric is cutoff?

But what if it is an electrical problem killing the car not related to power?

You can tow them on flatbed tow trucks, though.

You can push an EV off the road. You’re not supposed to push or tow them long distances because it can damage the motor, but getting it to the side of the road is fine.

If your EV bricks or the battery dies unexpectedly, how do you get it off the road? I assume you can't put it into neutral with no power, unlike a car with a transmission that you can put into neutral when there's a problem. How does this work?
