Spartans (or Olympians). Great variety, something for everyone.

Thanks for all the ideas! Afghan Bistro is at the top of my list of restaurants to try, but a little too far away on a rain Friday night. But it did make me want some kabobs, so we got food at my favorite kabob place near me— Kabobistan.

I’ve been meaning to try AB. Any recommendations? Nothing spicy.

DP. Any of their kabobs aren’t spicy. Neither are any of the other dishes tried. Mostly a lot of flavor from different spices but not hot if that’s what you mean.

I think my husband got chicken kabob last time.

Pho doesn’t do very well as takeout IMO.

My go to’s around Springfield:

Sushi/Japanese :
Eggs and Sushi (great sushi, mainly takeout place)
Tokyo One

Chicken:
Cocorico
Nando’s
Village Chicken

Kabobs:
Afghan Bistro
Moby Dick

Thai:
Le Thai
29 Pad Thai - opened recently, very good!

BBQ:
Mission BBQ

Saratoga Pizzeria has a decent bowl of simple chili, def not spicy.

Pho does sound amazing, but DH isn’t a fan. Maybe we can do Ramen.

I wish there was a good chili place. Not a fan of Hard Times Cafe, and it’s difficult to find good chili that isn’t spicy.

How about a spread of Lebanese-- chicken shwarma, falafel, pita, garlic sauce, salads, hummus and other dips, rice.

Have no idea what I’m in the mood for, but tired of pizza and not in the mood for Chinese. Willing to drive to pick up- Alexandria, Annandale, Burke, Fairfax, Springfield.
