This reminds me of the defunct the now defunct “gift” company in Gettysburg - the huge fake barn built to contain 3 or 4 levels of retail, a restaurant and a bear hospital was clearly an ego project for the founder.
The basement had a creepy interactive museum all about the founder and his path to success complete with posters, a re created family storefront, narrative signs explaining milestones. Um, you made overpriced teddy bears and plastic teddy bear figurines. You’re not Albert Einstein.
