You can get furikake at Hmart and Lotte.

Do you have a favorite type of furikake? I know it comes in different varieties, but I only discovered it recently, so I’ve only tried the Trader Joe’s version.

I'm French. Of course we still have Petit Ecolier. Maybe they have some at Rodman's? Amazon has some too.

Um, they have them at Giant and at Target.

Oops, sorry, I don't shop there.

Thums Up soda. Just had a can of it when I visited my family in Los Angeles.

Since we're talking Petits Ecoliers, I remember eating Princes de Lu, Galak white chocolat, Prosper pain d'épice, Banania, drinking Oasis, everytime we visited family in France. We just lived accross the border but didn't have French products that we saw on TV.

I haven’t seen #1 in hazelnut. Which brand carried this?

Forget the stuff that is no longer around…what IS? I realize not every product mentioned will be some big secret, just maybe some unsung heroes…

1) Petit Ecolier biscuits; I love the ones with hazelnut milk chocolate the most
2) Wampler chicken salad and other deli non-sweet chicken salad; Wampler is sometimes found at Giant, still definitely found at Kroger and Pay Less in the Midwest
3) Tostitos Hint of Lime, also known as Crack Chips
4) Bertolli Alfredo with Portabello Mushrooms. No one else in my family likes Alfredo, so when I’m on my own overnight because DH took the kids on a camping trip or something, it’s a giant bowl of rotini, this sauce, frozen peas and canned mushrooms all heated up and sprinkled with parm.
4) Smile cookies from Giant, the closest I can get to the Rosalyn Bakery cookies of my youth
