Beans in quiche, huh. I'll probably make scones if I am home.

NP. So this is the menu that will be served at the coronation, or is this just for people celebrating at home?

Both, I think.

Homemade scones, clotted cream and really really good jam with my tea. However, I don’t need an excuse.

Nope. I may make something fun for Cinco de Mayo the day before, though.

While I won’t be doing coronation food, for those who do, I guess Dillegrout is the original. By royal decree it was served at British coronations for centuries.

Plans for the coronation meal, Op??

Hec no! This country fought a war to separate itself from the monarchy. Why would I celebrate or even care?

I've looked at the coronation quiche recipe and have an idea of how I'll make it. Not sure about the sides yet. For coronation trifle, I may just make strawberry shortcake. But maybe a trifle would be fun, especially for the kids.

Anyone else have plans for the coronation meal?
