On my screen that dress is green and lovely. Kind of a seafoam green not a grass green, but definitely not blue.

Gender reveal parties are so 2015.

This trend of dictating what guests wear to make photos color coordinated has got to stop. You’re a guest, not a bridesmaid or a prop.

In many languages, blue and green are the same word

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue%E2%80%93green_distinction_in_language

Call it a grue dress and wear it with glee

Anyone who cares is not worth worrying about, and I thought gender reveals were no longer a thing?

Is it that you know it’s a boy, so the guests show up in blue? If not, wear what you like.

Turquoise can be a shade of blue.

That dress isn’t turquoise, it’s green.

I have no idea about fashion for gender reveal parties.

I’ve never heard of guests wearing a certain color to a gender reveal party. Are you supposed to be voting on what you think the sex of the baby will be? Cute game I guess! But that is definitely a green dress. It’s not turquoise

It's both blue and green on my computer screen, but since there's a lot more green, I categorize it as green.

Do you think you have any of these types of color blindness?

If you’re supposed to wear pink or blue, this is neither. Otherwise I don’t understand the question.

This may seem like an odd question but my teen says people may think my shade of blue is actually green. (She has never been to a gender reveal FWIW either)

Here’s the dress I have, it’s just a sundress I purchased last year:

I usually categorize turquoise with blue and teal with green FWIW. But this is my first gender reveal and I’m not sure if turquoise is acceptable or appropriate.
