Oh but I'm sure in their minds they got waitlisted. It's about the parents in prek not the kids. No 3 year old is beginning to go to GDS (or any other school for that matter).
My 3 year old was begging to go to gds because she saw busses in the parking lot. She didn't get in. She went on to have a successful school career featuring many bus trips.
You know what I mean. No 3 year old is getting onto the GDS website to look at dates, writing admissions essays, scheduling interviews, going to the playgroups, loving the testing...my daughter got into a big 3 preK this spring and an admissions person at the playdate told me that every kid there told her what they were getting from their parents after it was over (candy, cookies, etc.) These are bribes because the kids don't want to be there. The parents want them to be there.
