I personally do not believe a normal person would ever shoot another person. Becoming enraged to the point of firing a gun at someone is generally a clear signal that you are not well.

Ridiculous. Well over 70% of “guns deaths” = suicide, and that’s a mental health problem.

The remaining 30% are mostly gang-related, and those criminals belong in prison.

As for mass-shootings / assault rifles, there are more murders every year with fists, clubs, and other blunt objects than are committed with all rifles of any type - including assault rifles. Banning them will solve nothing (other than illegally violating the constitution and getting struck down).

People are the problem.

Mass shootings are extremely small risks, just like shark attacks and lighting strikes.

Fearing them is just like people who are terrified to take a plane trip due to sensationalized media coverage.

There was a shooting last night at Pike & Rose on Rockville Pike in MoCo, MD.

Probably shootings elsewhere in DC, MD, VA, etc.

We only hear about the shootings with multiple victims.
