I don't know, I see longer Montgomery County routes in the future map than on the current one.

Let’s just lean into this and codify that WMATA can only provide bus service inside DC. Routes to destinations in Maryland and Virginia should be serviced by those transit systems. Like Loudon Transit’s commuter bus service.

Or alternatively, provide a higher level of service in the city’s core. That’s what these maps move toward, and it’s a good idea.
