I don't know if its crime, probably more "detective" but the Horowitz books, Moonflower Murders, Magpie Murders, etc are all really good.

I like Bosch and the Thursday Murder Club also.
Here are a few more that I've enjoyed recently:
Alex Carter, Alice Henderson
IQ, Joe Ide
Alex Morrow, Denise Mina
Brigid Quinn, Becky Mastermen
Kyoichiro Kaga, Keigo Higashino
Falk, Jane Harper
Corcoran O'Connor, William Kent Krueger
There's a couple more I have to think to remember the names....
There's one sereis with 3-4 books with a main character who is a lesbian detective, I think in a midwest city, and another is a female black police officer with a white partner in Chicago, the author is Rachel something.
Another series I enjoyed..I can't recall this author either but I always get him mixed up with William Kent Krueger. I think the main character is Alex and these books are set on the upper peninsula.

Have you watched Bosch? I like the Harry Bosch novels it is based on. His half-brother is Mickey Haller, and that's another sort of series by the same author. Haller is the Lincoln Lawyer, so he approaches the crimes differently than Bosch, who is a detective.
