Subject: Can I move/replant tulips, daffodils after flowering? Or need to wait till fall?
I move them in the green all the time - it’s the only way I remember where they are, and then prevent myself from planting them right on top of other daffodils. Go for it.

I’d also try to plant the Un sprouted bulbs at the same time. They need a certain number of chill hours before they will sprout and flower, so I don’t think you need to worry about early blooming. And even if they do, they’ll get back on track soon enough.

I'm such a sucker for those tulip daffodils arrangements in pots but would love to not have them sitting in my basement until fall once the flowers fade.

I’ve moved tons of daffodils “in the green” with regular success. The leaves might flop over and yellow a bit more quickly, but they always seem to rebloom the next spring without issue.
I’d also try to plant the Un sprouted bulbs at the same time. They need a certain number of chill hours before they will sprout and flower, so I don’t think you need to worry about early blooming. And even if they do, they’ll get back on track soon enough.

Can I move tulips and daffodils after they flower or better to wait until fall?
I have some tulips and daffodils that I'd like to relocate to more sunny spots since they've become shaded.
I also have some in pots from this year that the tag says to store in a dry cool place until fall. Why? What would happen if I just planted them in the ground now? Rot?
