No. After reading I went to Goodreads because readers answer questions and provide feedback on events. The abrupt ending is the firm end, and is eluded to at the beginning of the book. I don't want to take away from the book or ending. It's a quick read! Left me with thinking.

Yes, I enjoyed it but I read it pre-pandemic. Would likely have appreciated it more if I'd read it during the pandemic! When I saw there was a show called Severance I thought it was an adaptation of the book, but no.

It was written in 2018 but depicts pandemic era in a spookingly correct way. Did you find it interesting?
