Where do they take the classes for HS enrichment? Are they online?

My son is doing a bunch of coding/IT certification classes, same thing he did last summer. Some of it will be new some of it will be the next level/standard of certifications he received last year.

My rising 8th grader is going to sleep away camp. One general camp and one sport-specific camp.

My rising freshmen (twins) are each doing a HS class for credit (1/2 days M-F, lasts for 3 weeks) at beginning of summer. One is playing a rec sport (a few evenings a week). The other is trying to look for babysitting jobs to earn spending $. Travel for about 2wks toward end of summer- a week visiting family in the Midwest and a week of family beach vacation. They will do whatever they like the rest of the time- hang out with friends, pool etc, screens.

Fall sports practices, which basically start at the beginning of summer and become intense in august. Other than that, eat, sleep and stare at various screens any other waking hour.

Last year my rising 9th grader did sports conditioning, and took a summer class at the high school to knock out some credits. Plus vacation and lots of friend time.

Swim team, two sports camps, summer school to get a crummy class out of the way, tutoring.

Mine has aged out of most camps. I might be able to book a couple weeks of vacation and maybe 1-2 sports 1/2 day sports camps but what do your young teens do all summer when they can't really get a job yet?
