I do it every day. I take notes during meetings in cursive. Then I'll edit/transcribe before I send them out. I can't present and type notes at the same time.

in my child's catholic school they are teaching it. during covid there was a gap when new students arrived and had no experience. but I am glad she's learning to write and read in cursive.

Taking dictation? That would be a useful skill for 1953.

I can write cursive but I never do anymore. Everything is electronic.

My niece is learning it in private school in 1st grade. I haven't written in script since I graduated from high school. I never really got the hang of it to be honest, and my print though poor, has always been more legible than my script.

All three of my kids learned cursive in their FCPS elementary school.

I do because it's faster. I WFH so nobody besides myself sees my notes.

It’s the only way I write. My kids taught themselves

It's taught in Montessori school, but that's probably about it.

Of course it’s still taught, just not where you live.

I'm sad this isn't being taught anymore. I was taught to write in cursive and still do...it's so flowy and neat even if you're taking dictation! DD isn't interested in her penmanship because typing skills are all she needs, but I'm sad to see this fade away except as a hobby for some people.
