We've gone to Top Golf with a group that includes my expert golfer dad, competent golfer son, and total beginners and everyone has a good time.

Top Golf is one of our favorite activities and we suck a golf!

Our teens & college age kids and friends love to meet up at top golf. It’s good bar food. Everything adds up and it is expensive. Fine for beginners. Maybe a bit more fun if someone knows how to hold a club and swing. It’s a decent family activity.

Yes, it's fine. The whole point of top golf is that you don't have to be a competent golfer to enjoy it.

There are actually plenty of people there who have never played 18 holes of golf.

My child started going (with my husband helping him) when he was 4 years old and he was able to hit the closer targets and make good contact consistently and he never bothered anyone (we would book our own bay).

I actually think the food is pretty good and it’s fun. I have no athletic ability and a mild physical disability and do just fine. Try to get an upper deck

9:23 again, and if they are going while you work, that’s also fine. My kids started going with friends in middle school. It can get expensive so if you aren’t with them, set a firm food limit.

Go and enjoy. My family likes it. Some of us know what we are doing and others only pick up a club when we are at atop Golf. You will see many people who are there for fun and have no idea how to hit a golf ball. Next to you could be a group actually keeping score. It’s fine. It’s better than a dinner out with the kids since it gives everyone something to do.

Absolutely! And it is a great idea for a fun outing.

It has fairly little relation to actual golfing from what I can tell. Pretty much everyone will be able to score points, even elementary kids who have never picked up a golf club before. Once you go, you will see what I mean.

My kids (14 and 12) absolutely love going. It’s a fun atmosphere. The food is not that great but it isn’t terrible either- standard bar/grill fare- we usually get appetizers and share.

I think top golf is different because they have games to play. A regular driving range wouldn’t be as fun. You could sign them up for a lesson and then let them play on their own - but check the age policy, I thought an adult had to be with kids, but I might be wrong.

Looking for fun activity with teens/tweens home for Spring Break while we work. I think a meal at top golf would be novel.

We don’t golf other than putt putt. Can absolute novices have a go at top golf, or are we going to ruin people’s dinner/hurt each other?!?
