Taylor had some issues last year with a terrible principle (who got moved to a cushy job at Syphax but then moved to Key temporarily; Not sure if they brought back the beloved principal there.) That principal (the awful one) also tried to push out a beloved reading specialist. The Principal is out; the reading specialist is back. And then this year they had the electrical problems that closed the school for a few days. But none of those are long-term issues.
Side note: Yes, Key got back our principal.
Thank goodness! I hate that our tax dollars will continue to pay for her do whatever at Syphax, but at least she’s no longer destroying teacher morale and keeping parents out of school buildings.
I encountered her at Claremont...she was terrible. Mind boggling that APS doesn't find a way to push her out.

Every public school has HVAC issues every year! Jeeez
