Are you looking for ideas of food to bring for the Passover Seder? Or food to eat during the week of Passover?

Ha ha ha! I was in Baltimore yesterday. Market Maven had police directing traffic. You couldn't move in Seven Mile. Unless you absolutely have to go to a kosher grocery store I would stay far far away this week.

As for what to bring, it really depends on how he wants to observe the holiday. I know that's not very helpful. Is he having a seder? Is he observing passover for the week?

He can eat many regular foods/meals. Like roast chicken, potatoes, salad. No bread, pasta, cake, cookies, etc. Meats and fish are fine. Eggs are fine. Many/most vegetables are fine.

So he doesn't know or follow all the rules and you just want a nice Passover care package? Or are you having a seder or regular meal?

If it's nice a care package of snacks and common traditions - matzah. Macaroons. Jelly rings (candy in a pink box) or candy fruit slices (in a flat box where you can see the slices). Any other treats in the Passover section that look good.

I might also just assure him that many people celebrate differently so it is ok if someone else says no to this food or that.

My sister and her partner live together and they are both developmentally delayed. We are Christian, but her partner is Jewish and he is trying to observe Passover (but he doesn't really understand all of the rules, so he can't help me with this question). I want to pack some food to take to them next week. What should I bring?
