Well yes, you exhale carbon dioxide, which is a component of fat. But your body cannot turn the carbon dioxide back into fat, so the mask won't make a (direct) difference.

Did you read the article -- fat turns into Carbon Dioxide IN YOUR BODY. We exhale carbon dioxide, which, yes, is how we lose weight. But it's not "fat" coming out of your mouth. It's carbon dioxide!

And then the trees consume it and that's how they grow! Love thinking about that beautiful relationship.

So you can't inhale fat. If you could, you'd probably choke on it.

The only thing embarrassing about this is still wearing a mask.

That's not how it works so, no.

No, you are not exhaling fat; you exhale carbon dioxide, which does not have any calories. Fat is used as a source of energy for your body. Wearing a mask should not make any difference. It might in fact make exercise very slightly harder, since you might not get quite as much oxygen with each breath, so you could potentially use a tiny bit more energy.

This is stupid. You aren't being "deep" or "scientific" - just dumb.
Just stop.

Reminded by the fan post that this is an anonymous forum, I want to ask a question I have been too embarrassed to ask anyone in real life. If we exhale fat, if we exercise (or do anything) with a mask on and breathe back the air in, are we breathing the fat back in?
