Is the car a classic that you are trying to keep miles off of? Why not just drive it. That is a day and a half drive from Houston. You might need to wash the bugs off when you get to DC.

Bumping to see if anyone has used anyone else recently. Looking at transporting from Houston to DC. Doesn't need to be covered/trailer.

Plycar. Shipped in an enclosed trailer. Not cheap, but they are very professional.

I used Wayfinder transport to get my Civic from LA to DC last august. Open air transport. Total cost was $1635

Intercity Lines shipped our Audi 1000 miles within a week, and the staff (Matt Mriglot) and driver (Jeff) were professional with every step of the way. Highly recommend. It was not cheap (~$2000), but the car arrived in perfect condition!

Looking for a recommendation for an auto transport carrier for a 1000 mile trip westward. Amtrak auto train only goes to Florida. Thanks.
