But I don’t understand this. Don’t you marry the person you love? How does this work? If you date someone short it’s because you find them attractive. What happens if you (or when you) fall in love? You break up because you were planning to marry a tall woman? I don’t get it and I think it’s BS.

But 5’8” is not that tall. I think 5’8”/5’9” is really ideal height (speaking as someone who is 5’3”). I think 5’11” and above is when the height becomes and issue for some men/women. My husband is 6’2” and his sisters are 5’9”” and 6’. The 5’9” sister is beautiful and always successful with men. The 6” is just as beautiful, but men don’t seem to look at her much (or at all).

Absolutely. College is getting too expensive! The kids need a shot at some D1 scholarships or they're going to trade school.

I know one. His mother will only let him date women 5'7" and above. I'm 5 nothing and that's tall to me hahaha. She wants to have tall grandkids. But I never have any issues dating and my previous boyfriends have all been over 6 feet. DH is 6'2"

I think there’s a difference between modelesque tall and tall tall. I have an associate, an absolutely lovely woman!, who is 6’5 and she doesn’t get asked on dates.

+1 I always saw my height as a negative with men. I think it is a complete turn off for some and some can “deal with it” but it is rare to seek that quality out.

Not that I'm aware of but I'm sure they exist, just like there's a subset of furries or sapiosexuals or people who prefer a specific ethnicity. Just dont think it's on any widespread level

Really? From what I've seen with my friend group it's the opposite. The tall girls always have issues dating and when they do date it's often with short men. For some reason the super short girls seem to be always boo-ed up with some 6 foot+ man. It's very strange
