I like to sleep in to 8:30 or 9 one day per week but don't always manage it due to the cat poking and screaming at me (He bothered me at 7:30 today and I actually managed to go back to sleep until 9 - I think the rain helped)

During the workweek, I normally sleep from 12:30 or 1 until 7 am, so I need to catch up a little on the weekend. I will never not be a night owl.

I used to be able to sleep 7 til 7:30 or 8 (after the kids got old enough to occupy themselves in the morning. But for the last several months, I am up by 6:30, no matter when I go to bed. It’s so frustrating.

Either the dog or the kid has us up by 7:15 in most cases.

I set an alarm for 7:30 and usually stay in bed until 8 or so. Until I was in my mid-30s I would get less sleep during the week and would sleep in late on the weekends, like past 9 or even until 10. That really messed me up for the week. Now I try to not vary my sleep schedule too much between weekends and weekdays. I wake up at 7 on weekdays. Also no kids or pets here.

I’m an empty nester and self employed. I wake up at 7:30 am seven days a week. That will move to 6:30 as we get farther along into Spring. I can’t sleep in later than that although 7:30 feels late for me as I woke up at 6 when I still had kids at home.

8 or 8:30. Kids sleep in or entertain themselves.

The key is to have blackout blinds/curtains.

By 6am. I'm up by 5:15 on weekdays. If I sleep in too much, it'll mess me up for the week.

It’s 8:40 and I’m in bed scrolling DCUM, dh and kids (12,14) still asleep. It’s rare we have a weekend with out sports so why not rest.

Retired and kids are out of the house. I was awake before 5 AM and worked out around 6 after my coffee. FWIW, I go to bed around 9 PM.

I get up at 6 so I can enjoy being aware of the fact that it's the weekend for as much as possible. Sitting on the couch with my coffee and no work to go to! Also no kids or pets
