It was perfect to watch through midnight feedings with my middle baby. Sweet memories.

+1 I also related to the fraught mother-daughter relationship and envied the close one.

It is one of those shows that did not be well. In the end, Paris and Emily are the best characters.

Paris and Emily are definitely the best characters.

I honestly never liked that show; as an adult, I found out why. Not a fan; VERY dishonest and narcissistic ideas about womanhood, female bonding, etc.

I hated it as a tween/young teen when it was on the air. I found it so annoying and trying too hard.

I love the creators other show though- the marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Clever writing, chock full of pop references that are very entertaining. Heartwarming stories, humor, (mostly) charismatic cast. I recently watched with my 11 yo daughter and we both loved it, and it was a great opportunity to discuss an array of life lessons. But in my experience people either adore Amy Sherman-Palladino projects or dislike them, not much middle ground.

Watch the whole thing and come back.

A lot of people have an agenda against the show today

I watched it in real time and was the same age as Rory and also went to a private school. I liked the mom/daughter relationship and the quirky characters.

I've never understood the fascination with this show. I gave it a really good go and never got into it. It boggles the mind.
