No. How could they mention? What kind of scenario do you have in your mind?
The only time FA situation comes up, it is with the director of financial aid in January. We apply, and she replies. And that's about it as much as FA conversation.

How do I guess that rest of the administrators know? It is actually a very weak guess. When we apply for FA, I am guessing the administrators maybe thinking about each child's academic potential and maybe receiving feedback from school reports etc.

OP, you seem really concerned that someone might be aware of your FA status. This says more about how *you* view a perceived financial “failing” than anyone at your school. The school does not care. Please, whatever you do, do not let your child get the impression that you feel inferior about your money situation, because they *will* internalize that and start to feel bad about themselves compared to other students they view as being “better” because they have more money.

PP is claiming that a VIP kid would get more lenience. Which may be true at some schools (but not all), but the FA kid is not going to be treated worse than a full-pay non-VIP kid, which are the bulk of students.

Okay that makes sense to me. A Supreme Court Justice's/Beyonce/Senator's child/niece/nephew vs just plain rich or wealthy.

Been paying full for years but thinking of requesting aid (for real reasons) and don't want to be treated differently.

Do schools treat you in any way differently if you are receiving financial aid?

Do the teachers know? Does the staff know? Does the head of school "principals" know? Any different treatment.
