If you are observant, you are not supposed to eat egg matzoh - that's only for the infirm or the children. So, maybe whoever orders it for the store thinks that there will be a very limited market for Passover? It's fine to eat otherwise.

Here in DC, one major store has a coupon for 5 free boxes of regular Matzah every year (with a purchase of $?). That is what everyone I know does. Not sure I have everhad egg matzah.

Oh and if you just need to pick one thing, Giant is fine. I would go to the Motis or the Giant near there for a full week's shopping but not for one thing.

If it's to share something to teach a out the holiday, macaroons are the most traditional. Or jelly rings.

I would do candied fruit jellies. I am 90% sure I saw them at the Giant on Arlington Road this week, but I also went to Safeway way out in the burbs on the same day, and it's possible I saw them there.

Giant has a bigger selection than WF. Probably the most popular treats would be the rainbow Passover cookies that are like tiny chocolate covered cakes. If you can’t find those, and if nut allergies aren’t a concern, I’d buy a can of Manischewitz macaroons. If all else fails, you can buy chocolate covered matzoh.
