I don’t understand because CA was first stolen from indigenous people, then it was part of Mexico and Latinos lost land and have been discriminated against since then. There used to be segregated schools for Latino students since they were not allowed to go to white schools in many areas. Chinese immigrants were treated horribly as well. Why are the decedents of indigenous, Latino, Chinese, and Japanese going to have to pay reparations?
You mean like this?
Los Angeles county officials have returned ownership of prime California beachfront property to descendants of a Black couple who ran a resort for African Americans in the 1920s until the local government seized their land.
The LA board of supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved the transfer of the parcels in area once known as Bruce’s Beach in the city of Manhattan Beach. The site, steps away from one of southern California’s most pristine beaches, is now a county lifeguard training headquarters and a parking lot, and the transfer allows the county to lease back the property with an option to buy it for millions of dollars.

Seems like a good thing. I guess you are one of those people who thinks museums should not return stolen and looted art. You seem to believe anything that was stolen can not be returned to the victim unless the same can be done for every victim. Lucky the US dos nit work that way.
