I don’t have a car, have a bad shoulder, live on a third floor walkup, and am not lazy. I just can’t carry heavy things home and up the stairs.
If you have a bad shoulder, you maybe able to hire a nurse to help with daily living and have it covered by insurance.
Walk to grocery store with a granny cart, have them load it for you, then walk it back, and have nurse scheduled to help. Or take a taxi.
