Why do you say this? I've been using Timeless for 3 years, never have I had an issue with their product arriving old, or lasting a long time while staying fresh. They have dates on their packages as well.

Do you refrigerate it?

I use Paula’s Choice .3% retinol plus bakuchiol. I do not have a derm who will prescribe retinol to prevent wrinkles (I’m active duty). I will probably try the Paula’s choice 1% next, but I wanted to go slow.

I haven’t found a vitamin c that makes a visible difference, but of the ones I’ve tried, Keihls is my favorite.

Prescription Retin A

Drunk Elephant Vit C makes me breakout. Skinceuticals is expensive, but it’s the gold standard.

I agree with prescription Retin A.

Skinceuticals breaks me out. I guess you need to experiment, OP.

If you can get prescription for generic tretinoin, otherwise use Differin. For C serum, use The Ordinary. Both are affordable and can be ordered from Amazon.

I use art naturals vitamin c & retinol. $13 at target & has improved my skin a ton. I started with vit c, after awhile added retinol a couple times a week.

Cerave vitamin c serum is great. Don’t invest too much in vit c serum as you have to replace it every 4-5 months.

But word of warning- don’t start both or you will damage your skins moisture barrier. Introduce the retinol very, very slowly (one a week the first month, twice a week the 2nd month, etc.)as putting too many actives on your face at once is a recipe for disaster. GL!

Prescription tretinoin from RoDerm

I mix The Ordinary’s vitamin C powder into my daily moisturizer. Used to invest in Skinceuticals c/ferulic but after a couple years it just made me rashy. Switch to TO and my skin started looking more vibrant and zero irritation.

I am a late adopter of adding antioxidant and retinol serums/creams to my skin care. My head is spinning reading recommendations. Ideally, I’d like a routine that combats wrinkles, sun spots, uneven tone, and large chin and nose pores, with a decent price point (although I’d invest in a holy grail type product, just not sure I believe in any). I am a freckled middle aged woman. I’d appreciate your recs for each of a vitamin C serum/cream for A.M. and retinol for P.M. Thanks.
