Also consider OCNJ. Very different from ocmd. It is perfect for kids those ages.

Wildwood has a bit of an old school Italian and blue collar. reputation. (I say that growing up going there)

We liked fox realty

Looks a lot rowdier than Cape May for sure but the costs are significantly lower. Thanks!

Wildwood Crest is not nearly as congested and crowded and choked with traffic as Cape May in summer.

I grew up in Cape May County.

The Wildwoods are three separate town on one 5-mile long barrier island. North Wildwood ends on 26th Street and you’re then in Wildwood. Wildwood ends at Cresse Ave and then you’re in the Crest.

Wildwood Crest is the quietest of the three towns and doesn’t have a boardwalk. It’s largely single family homes. It’s also a dry town, meaning no bars and no alcohol served at restaurants. North Wildwood is larger and does serve alcohol, and the boardwalk starts there, but it’s a lot more quiet than Wildwood proper.

Wildwood is the town in the center of the island. It’s where the bulk of the boardwalk is located. The boardwalk there is really a sight to behold. Total honky tonk, great rides, lots of places to eat, awesome people watching - really something else. Definitely not high class though. Makes Ocean City MD look high end. In some ways it has an urban feel to it.

Vacationed there every year as a child (in Wildwood). Stayed in motels and townhouses. The boardwalk rides are awesome.

Wildwood Crest is quieter and wealthier. Still walkable to the boardwalk activities.

Awesome memories
