AOS math is quire unique, with focus more on how to handle data for datamodeling, and the analysis of data more like math courses designed for writing science lab reports as they do have a lot of science labs. The mateerial is desgned for self learning .. so if kid get stuck on HW ..theey just read further ahead into other lectures and do a little bit of research on line. 10th AOS math is quite challenging for most students. Many AOS kids will not make directly to BC calculus by 11 th garade.
AOS students will get much better in Statistics by 10th grade. Some of them did do very well in AP Statistics by 10th grade.
