No. You match on that platform that's where you communicate until one party gives the other their contact info. Do not tale it upon yourself to find them anywhere else.

You matched and it expired - you missed that shot. Move on. What you should be learning from this is that you can talk to multiple people simultaneously until you decide to move forward with one. Don't focus only on one guy until at goes nowhere and then think "let me swing by his office" about the guy you ignored last month.

Embarrassed… I matched with a guy on a dating app and let it expire because I was talking/seeing someone else and the guy never started up a chat. I found him on LinkedIn and connected there, sent a very short message saying hi and that I was open to chatting on a different medium if he’s interested, otherwise no worries. I told a friend she she was like OMG I can’t believe you did that! Is that awful that I reached out that way? His first name and workplace were listed in his dating profile and he’s got lots of online presence so it’s not like it was hard to find him.
