Her end game, she said she is two and done. She is on maternity leave now. She will come back do just enough to last 1-2 more years then maybe get lay off or package, then do severance and unemployment a few months than take a “real job” as well oldest will be in first grade and todays kid in prek.
I say 80 percent of company goofing off.
Wow, you must be omniscient to know all that about so many different people whom you never see.

About the same as I do in the office. But the office also has the added distractions of chit chatting coworkers and the 2 hours lost to commute.

I always get all of my deliverables done perfectly and on time. I seek out other learning opportunities and to assist colleagues, but I’m not going to do busy work just because. So I have a lot of free time.

It depends on how busy I am. If I'm under the gun, trying to finish a project to meet a tight deadline, I'm more productive WFH because I will just work nonstop once I drop the kids off at school, without the time for commute, packing lunch and snacks, etc. If I'm in a slower period, there is more 'not working' at home because I may do stuff around the house, cook, etc. If I am at the office in a slow time I would probably be more motivated find some smaller tasks to do.

a lot less than in the office.
on my team, the key workers are doing great. it is the folks that are marginal, the business analyst, the scrum manager, both of those types seem to do nothing. next budget crunch they are getting replaced with developers and / or testers. The scrum manager work could be done by an admin in part time.

I’ve worked from home for 20+ years, most of that as a small business owner, so the amount of work I accomplished directly determined how much I made. I didn’t screw around at all. I don’t get why the amount of work people do is related to where they are doing the work.

I actually do much more work now than I did in the office since no one is stopping by to bug me, sitting in my visitors chair telling me the same story again or chatting me up in the kitchen while getting my lunch. I don't really take breaks and I'm able to start and end my day earlier to get personal things done anyway. Plus I save an hour not having to commute 1/2 hour each way.

I think my work to screwing around ratio is pretty much the same whether I’m in the office or at home. I take small breaks throughout the day to exercise or do a random errand, but I work more hours total from home since there’s no commute time and I don’t take a lunch hour. My company fully supports WFH and it is understood that people step away from their desks occasionally to do non-work related stuff.
