I'd give Vinson Hall a call -- they are in McLean, so not very far. They do have a short-term rehab place and they take Medicare I believe (my mom lives there and last year we were looking at whether she'd have to have surgery and rehab before she moved in).

I’m hoping to get a parent with dementia in rehab to help them walk again after several days in the hospital. Any Medicare covered in patient rehab places in Arlington? I have Cherrydale Rehab and MedStar National (but hoping to avoid that because it’s hard to drive to). Parent also is retired military.
