My preference for names has changed over time. The names I liked in 1990 were different than the ones I liked in 2000 or the ones I'd pick now. I'm forever making mental lists of great dog names now that I won't be naming any more babies.

Interestingly, I like my second kid's name more than the first kid's name. His name didn't even make our short list first time around.

Most people choose a name other than Camille, so there are lots of valid options out there that are great.

You still have time. My husband and I suggested my niece's name as my sister was in labor getting in the car to go to the hospital. It starts with an A because we were on the first pages of reading the name book when she left for the hospital.

Third trimester with our second DD and my husband and I keep running through name lists. We feel like we were so locked in on our first DD’s name (Camille) and absolutely love it. We also loved our hypothetical boy’s name, so being this late in the game without a locked up name is annoying. Anything we try for #2 just feels like it’s coming in second place. Any tips on how to get over that mindset?
