Also, their only proposed solution to my child's difficulty with reading comprehension was OG and other dyslexia interventions. They had no knowledge or expertise in other reasons a student might have difficulty with comprehension.

Only the admissions office can really answer this for you. I suggest you set up a meeting with them to discuss your individual child's needs and ask them.

It's said in this forum as well as by the school that kids with ASD are not accepted for admission. However, I know 3 kids whose parents disclosed to me that their children "had" ASD. They all are now at McLean and 2 of them are doing well. The third is doing well academically but struggling socially. If the ASD is mild and the kids have no obvious behaviors, is it a good fit for a kid with HFA whose main issues are ADHD-inattentive, reading comprehension, dysgraphia, and slow processing speed but pretty much close to grade level academically? Any other schools that would be a good fit? DC is currently at a very small SN light/mainstream type early ES?
