Then after Group C accepts their offers and turns down half of them, if they process this waitlist all at once, then I would think that group A & B would have accepted their offers as well, and the spots would go to group D and the students who are on only one waitlist.
If instead they process each acceptance and withdrawal of application as they come in, then they might give the spots to students who are accepted to the other school.
It is possible they will still give students a spot who have already accepted to another school, but I think they would not.

Hopefully TJ results should come out soon.

If a student is waitlisted for both AOS and AET, does that mean their position is higher on the waitlist than someone who was waitlisted for just one of the academy programs?
The waitlists are separate.

Anonymous wrote:How does the waitlist work? There are some students who are offered admission to AOS but are waitlisted for AET and vice-versa. Once the waitlist is processed, would those students who already accepted the admission offer to one of the academy programs be offered a seat for the other program, or would the seat be offered to a waitlisted candidate who was never offered a seat before?

Eventually, none of this makes any difference as the waitlisted student will either get accepted or rejected, but DC has these questions while stressing over the waitlist and I don't have answers to any of these. The pressure that these kids put on themselves is unbelievable!
